Women Leaders for the World - From Concept to Change: Elevating the voice and power of Women of Color in Politics

Aimee Allison, Founder and President of She the People, an organization focused on elevating the voice and power of women of color in politics, will speak about how she went from conceptualizing the organization to changing the landscape for women of color.  Aimee will share her greatest leadership lessons and reflect on the challenges along the way. She'll also discuss what nonprofit leaders working on empowering girls of color today should focus on and as a Women Leaders for the World fellow, she'll tell us how the fellowship helped her get to where she's now.
